Product Introduction
ABC Piercing Cable Connectors are designed for low voltage ABC cable or overhead line. The abc piercing cable connectors are fully insulated and safe to install without special tools.
The connector is applicable for self-supporting insulated wire and service connections of insulated aluminum and copper main and branch conductors up to 1KV.
The ABC piercing cable connectors consist from two glass-fiber reinforced plastic parts, which are fitted with two brass tinned teeth’s, which are coated with UV-curing silica grease and the teeth are fitted with rubber insulation.The blades of the insulation piercing connectors are made of tin-plated copper or tin-plated brass or aluminium alloy allowing connections to Al or Cu conductors
Equipped with single or double shear head bolt. The torque control nut draws the two parts of the connector together and shears off when the teeth have pierced the insulation and made contact with the conductor strands.
The terminals marked Tare equipped with tear head. The lower part of the clamp is designed to chamber, providing optimal ventilation of BEILI
Tested for water tightness at the voltage of 6kV 50HZ for 1 minute under water under standard EN 50483-4, NFC 33-020.
