Product Introduction

Easy-Tap Insulation Piercing Connector is widely used for Low Voltage Aerial Bundled Conductor (LV ABC) lines up to 1KV Insulation piercing system. This tap can be used to continue the line, distribute the line, used in street lighting or in service connections to households.

The design allows the connection to be completely sealed against any water ingress, thus acting as a waterproof connector.

There are four main applications to IPC’s, namely street lighting, tap off, distribution box charging, and jumper connections.

The Easy-Tap Insulation Piercing Connector’s self-seam frame is wet proof, water proof, and anti-corrosive, which can prolong the using life of insulated lead and connector. Equipped with dual shear head screw. Provide a fully sealed, waterproof connection of aluminum and copper main and tap conductors up to 1KV. These bodies are made of plastic with fiberglass allowing high resistance to its environment but also offering superior mechanical properties.

Teeth materials are Aluminium, Tin plated brass and Tin plated copper. Installation of IPC can be easily done by tightening the bolts to force the teeth penetrate the insulation of main conductor and tap conductor simultaneously.
